Our traditional Hotaru (firefly glass) beads are handmade by Tanaka-san in Okinawa; paired with our silver skull and washer. KISS (for Keep It Simple Silly) is a collection that allows for color combinations for a wrist that expresses your personality.
Traditional Hotaru© beads are charged with light and give it back once immersed in darkness. Comparable to the light emitted by fireflies, it is this phenomenon that owes its name of firefly bead to this treasure of Japanese craftsmanship.
