Cyane

In Sicily, the nymph Cyane watched Hades carry Persephone off to the underworld, and dared to stand in his way. The god drove his sceptre into her spring to tear open a road to his kingdom, and Cyane wept until she dissolved into her own waters. At the heart of this bracelet keeps watch a sculpted 925 sterling silver face, the one from the Hecate ring, designed by Olivier Ledroit. Around it, matte silver sheen obsidian holds the darkness of the abyss Hades tore open, pierced by the blue of shattuckite that brings the spring's waters back to the surface: the tears of a nymph who refused to stay silent.
